Doctorate supervision according to the method of the Gaia College
Hand in hand with the best professionals in the world
At the end of their doctoral studies, graduates receive the academic title of Doctor—one of the highest educational degrees, which qualifies them to lecture at academic institutions and engage in scholarly teaching.
In our blog, you’ll find a brief and engaging overview of the history of the doctoral degree, its origins, and how it has evolved into what it is today. The degrees we handle are primarily Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)—the standard degree awarded to individuals completing third-cycle academic studies.
Additionally, there are professional doctorates, including the MD (Doctor of Medicine), DEd (Doctor of Education), and DBA (Doctor of Business Administration). While the MD degree is widely recognized, other professional doctorates are not as commonly accepted in our country. For this reason, we focus exclusively on PhD degrees, which, alongside the MD for physicians, are the only doctoral degrees officially recognized in Israel.
“The general aim of doctoral research is to acquire knowledge to understand better the world we live in, and, if possible, to advance the good within it.”— Stockholm University, Sweden
“Doing a PhD will probably be the most transformative time in your personal development, preparing you for your future career.”— University of Twente, Netherlands
