Admission Requirements for Doctoral Studies:

To determine if you meet the admission requirements for doctoral studies, you must ensure that your master's degree is recognized by the Israeli Academic Council, as this is the first thing that is reviewed by the university abroad. Then you need a research topic that is approved by a supervisor abroad, and the last thing is that your research proposal is approved. Sometimes, when registration for the doctoral program exceeds capacity, an admissions interview is also required.

Length of the doctoral program - how long does the third cycle last?

A full study program lasts 4 years and includes 2 or 3 trips abroad, each lasting about a week. At the end of the first year, you submit the research proposal, write an article, and participate in an international conference. Another six months for field research and data analysis, and another six months of writing the dissertation and sending it for external review. In the third year, the flight is optional; in the fourth year, it is required to defend the degree. During the stay abroad, the frontal courses are studied, and meetings with the supervisors are held - everything via Zoom.
