Post Doc

The Gaia College Research Institute postdoctoral program is a unique academic program in which postdoctoral studies are conducted through publishing academic research in conferences and journals. As a postdoctoral student at Gaia College, you will participate each year in a unique mentoring program that aims to advance you directly to the title of professor at a European university.

How does it actually work?

The participants

The program is adapted to holders of a PhD research degree. Those with a professional doctorate must complete a research PhD before the program.

The personal tutor model

Each post-student is assigned a professor who serves as a personal mentor.

Mentoring involves jointly identifying research topics of common interest.

The mentor and the student meet every month for an hour-long mentoring session.

Mentor meetings and assignments

During the monthly meetings, the mentoring professor gives the post-student a list of tasks to complete before the next meeting.

The student has three weeks to complete and submit the assigned assignments.

The tutor spends the last week before the next meeting reviewing the student's work.
